Services Available

The grade level commercial space has sixteen non-federal tenants, a daycare centre and a fitness centre. Principal services consist of a restaurant, fourth food outlets, dental office, optometrist, floral shop, hair salon, suntan studio, gift shop as well as other various services usually found in high-density office buildings such as a bank branch, dry cleaner, travel agency and a Canada Post postal station.

Postal Outlet

The Canada Post outlet is located on Level 01 just inside the 9 Laurier Street entrance.

Bank Machines

2 ATM machines are located inside Portage IV near the 140 Promenade du Portage entrance. These are adjacent to the CS Alterna bank branch located at that entrance. These are only accessible during building hours and are not street (exterior) accessible.

Optometrist

Located just inside the 150 Promenade du Portage entrance is Miosis, the building’s resident optometrist.

Dry Cleaning

Wrightville Cleaners offers dry cleaning and alteration services on Level 0 to anyone requiring their services. They also have a Sears catalogue outlet within their location.

Floral Shop

Flowers and floral arrangement are available at Fleuriste du Centre on the main commercial level.

Beauty Services

Anyone wishing to take a little time for themselves is encouraged to visit the Salon Coiffure Profity and the Studio Suntan, both located inside Portage IV on Level 0.

Food Services

Any hunger can be satisfied, be it small or large, at the 4 food outlets in Portage IV. Le Mirage is a full service restaurant, while L’Escale, Tim Hortons and the Sushi Shop offers various fare with nearby seating located in the mall concourse.

Gift Shop

Boutique Affection is the building’s confectionary and gift/card one-stop shop.

Miscellaneous Services

The remainder of the commercial space is occupied by various other valuable services. Artwoods offer assorted business services, while Voyage Rola supplies travel solutions to those looking for vacation ideas.
Tenant Services

The Day Care Centre and Well-Fit Centre provide day care and fitness service respectively to all building tenants. These services are available only to employees of HRSDC, and are well utilized by the clients.

The commissionaire’s desk is located on level one, in front of the escalators at 140 Promenade du Portage where you’ll find general information and may make inquiries, concerning lost and found, access to restricted areas, various publications and tourist information.

24 hour security provides visible foot patrol and close circuit television camera surveillance.

Numerous bicycle stands are available at the entrance of 9 Laurier Street where security cameras monitor the entire area. Furthermore, we are proud to report the installation of a new bicycle cage completely secured and monitored 24/7. This new holding area is located on Maisonneuve street.

SNC-Lavalin ProFac was awarded the property management contract of numerous Federal buildings as of April 1st, 2005. The building management team can be found at the entrance of 9 Laurier Street, Level 01. Please refer to the contact section for additional information.

Portage IV has a Conference Centre located on the main floor (level 0) of the building.
