Employees of Place du Portage
Come support local businesses and charities by shopping at the monthly fairs. You’ll find a variety of items including jewelry, health and beauty products, clothing, service providers, food, and much more. There are always new vendors joining the fairs, so come by often. The fairs start on the first payday of each month and last two days. You will find the vendors in the lobby of Place du Portage, Phase III, Tower C. Happy shopping!
Every month, Public Service and Procurement Canada, with the help of BGIS, organizes a fair to support the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. This major fundraising campaign raises money for Health partner and the local United Way chapter.
The exhibitions are held in the lobby of Place du Portage, Phase III, Tower C (11 Laurier Street, Gatineau), but organizers may also hold them in other federal government buildings.
Vendors are required to carry a minimum of two million dollars ($2,000,000.00) general liability insurance.
If you are interested in participating in these fairs, please contact the organizers at CCE.ECC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca. They will add you to the distribution list and provide you with the dates and costs of the fairs. The fairs are held every month except January, July and August. They are generally two-day long (always Wednesdays and Thursdays) and begin on the first payday of the month for federal government employees. For space rental to participate in the fairs, please contact Lynda Noel, Lease Coordinator at BGIS: Lynda.Noel@bgis.com.
